Last Friday we carried out two drone surveys in one day – both for setting out projects to verify existing surveys. Both projects had incomplete topographical surveys. The drone surveys were also for construction progress monitoring purposes as a snapshot of each site that will be repeated. Both setting out projects should start on the ground in 2 weeks time.
Aerial overviews

Aerial images of construction sites provide valuable insights for project managers, quantity surveyors and site managers. Monitor Construction Progress, quickly, safely and in a very cost-effective way. See more: Why Project Managers should get a Drone Survey to monitor progress
3d photogrammetry models

Collecting hundreds of overlapping images allows us to provide fully textured photogrammetric 3D models for greater levels of client understanding. These allow clients to inspect the original images and to take area and volume measurements directly online.
Orthographic image and topographical survey
Orthographic images are produced which can be overlain with topographical surveys, design and construction drawings. This allows stakeholders to quickly analyse progress and accuracy on site.
Verifying topographical surveys against client drawings
Orthographic image and client drawings
We can compare multiple data sets to confirm both our work and work by other contractors against design drawings, the original topographical surveys, our drone surveys and as-built surveys.
